The Cavemen hosted region foe Corner Canyon in the First Round of the 2023 UHSAA 6A Playoffs and defeated the Chargers 2-1 at American Fork High School on Friday.
Both goals came in the second half, with Lewis Knecht equalizing in the 49th minute and Bodie Ford scoring the game winning goal in the 65th minute from distance.
The win gives the Cavemen the spot in the Round of 16 (Second Round) at 2-seed Davis on Tuesday, March 16. Kick-off will be at 4 PM.
